Bekah is practicing her reading with Daddy. We have to make sure she is at 20wpm for her testing in December and she is past that. We are very proud of her.

I am a Mom, an Army Wife, and most importantly, just me! My kids are my world, along with my marriage, I cherish them both. I have been married for 6 years and each day has been one more that we continue to work on. When it comes to us, there is no guarantee and that makes me always remember to cherish each day. I have been raised in a world and family of many different cultures, beliefs, and backgrounds that they have all created me. The people in my life have many different last names and we are certainly not a 'conventional' family, but why would we want to be!? Everything I am is because of the people in my life {good/bad/gone}...because of this I am more open minded than most and just simply more open. :O)

My Man In Boots

In the 9 years I have known my husband, I've learned more about what love truly is than I could have ever imagined.

He's been in the Army for almost 10 years, and is a Combat Medic. After 2 tours to Iraq with the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, he worked at RACH in Fort Sill, OK. Now he is on his 3rd tour, this time to Afghanistan, with 3rd Brigade out of Schofield Barracks.

When I say he is my Hero. He literally is my Hero. I'm a lucky woman to admire her husband so much and know such love in return.
